Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (R.C.I.A) is a journey through different spiritual phases of increasing maturity by which one prepares to commit oneself to Jesus Christ and become full members of the Catholic faith community through the sacraments of Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation.
Participants in RCIA are known as catechumens, and ruing the celebration of Rite of Election, they become known as Elect. They are prepared for the celebration of the Sacraments of Initiation during Easter Vigil.
After the person is initiated, they continue with the period of Mystagogy, where they will reflect on their experiences at the Easter Vigil and continue to learn more about the Catholic Church.
The formation is for:
-Any unbaptized person who wishes to explore becoming a Catholic.
-Any person baptized from another Christian community seeking to be Catholic.
Requirements for Registration:

8 years and older.

Provide a copy of birth certificate

Pay the registration fee (ask our Religious Education office)

Registration begin during the months of August to September.

Formation begins in the month of October and We meet every Wednesdays from 5:30p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
During the formation, our team will determine the readiness of each person and will work to determine the time it will take for them to receive the sacraments. The average time is 1-2 years.
